Palestinian resistance factions on Sunday asserted that the primary objective of the so-called American aid distribution centers in the Gaza Strip is to terminate the mission of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) and to transform the Palestinian issue from a political cause into a purely relief and humanitarian one.
In a statement, the factions claimed these actions are intended to accelerate "the crime of forced displacement, ethnic cleansing, and emptying the Gaza Strip of its people and residents," aligning with what they termed "the plan of the criminal US President Trump."
They further stated that these "American aid distribution centers have turned into traps and death traps targeting the hungry Palestinian people," who are driven to them by hunger and thirst. The factions described these centers as becoming sites of "daily massacres and slaughters before the eyes and ears of the entire world."
The Palestinian resistance factions called upon all international and Arab legal and judicial organizations, as well as "all free people around the world," to prosecute what they termed the "inhumane American security establishment."
They accused this establishment of playing a "suspicious security and intelligence role" that has resulted in the deaths of "more than 126 Palestinian martyrs suffering from famine due to the criminal Zionist siege."
The factions urged for "pressure on the Zionist entity and the US administration to resume the distribution of relief aid through international organizations affiliated with the United Nations, foremost among them UNRWA."
They emphasized that UNRWA is "the only agency capable of carrying out this mission, given its legal capacity, practical experience, and competencies to preserve the lives, dignity, and humanity of our people in Gaza."
A strong warning was issued to the Palestinian people against being "lured by any false promises from the Zionist enemy or its mercenaries, agents, and thieves." They also cautioned "any family, institutional entity, or suspicious company against collaborating with the Zionist enemy's plans to create dubious and agentic alternatives to UNRWA."
The statement concluded by asserting that the resistance's security forces and groups now possess "full authority and authorization to strike with all force and determination against any entity or person who intersects with or cooperates with the enemy's plans, or against any agent who violates the law and the traditions and customs of the Palestinian people."
It affirmed that "all agents, thieves, and criminal armed gangs will be a legitimate target for the resistance's security forces and groups."
