The Russian Defense Ministry announced the downing of 61 Ukrainian drones in the Bryansk, Belgorod, Kaluga, Tula, Oryol, Kursk, and Moscow regions, as well as Crimea in the southwest of the country.
The Novosti news agency quoted the ministry as saying on Sunday: "Our air defenses detected and downed 61 Ukrainian drones last night and until dawn today in the Bryansk, Belgorod, Kaluga, Tula, Oryol, Kursk, and Moscow regions, as well as the Republic of Crimea."
A short while ago, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin announced that air defenses had destroyed nine Ukrainian drones targeting Moscow and its region.
