Gaza – Saba:
The Resistance Committees Leadership in Palestine has mourned the assassination of two prominent leaders: Dr. Asaad Attia Abu Sharia (Abu Al-Sheikh), Secretary-General of the Palestinian Mujahideen Movement, and his brother, Ahmed Attia Abu Sharia (Abu Palestine), a member of the Mujahideen Movement's General Secretariat.
In a statement, "the Resistance Committees Leadership announced that the two brothers "ascended on the road to al-Quds on Saturday afternoon in a treacherous Zionist assassination. Their lives were described as being filled with jihad, resistance, and giving in the fields of advocacy, and with great sacrifices for our Palestinian cause and for the liberation of the land of Palestine, its holy city, and its blessed al-Aqsa Mosque."
The statement, issued by the Palestinian Resistance Committees and its military wing, al-Nasser Salah al-Din Brigades, praised Dr. Asaad Abu Sharia's "jihadist career, replete with jihad, resistance, service to Islam and Muslims, calling to God, and consolidating the path of resistance, jihad, confrontation, and defiance of the Zionist entity."
The committees affirmed that "the assassination of resistance leaders will only increase our determination and steadfastness to continue the path of jihad and resistance until the usurping Zionist entity is annihilated and defeated." They stressed that the "crimes, massacres, and escalating slaughters of the Zionist enemy" are "miserable and failed Zionist attempts to impose the enemy's will on our people and subjugate them." They asserted that these actions "will never succeed in breaking our will and resolve, but rather will only strengthen the flame and vigor of the resistance."
The Resistance Committees expressed great confidence that our brothers, loved ones, and comrades in the Palestinian Mujahideen Movement and Mujahideen Brigades are capable, with steadfastness, will, and determination, of overcoming these difficult moments.
