President of the Supreme Political Council Mahdi al-Mashat on Saturday sent a cable of condolences on the passing of Sheikh Qasim bin Ali Saad al-Nufi, who died at the age of 58.
In his cable to the deceased's family members, President al-Mashat lauded Sheikh al-Nufi's virtues and national contributions in serving his country and community. He also highlighted al-Nufi's significant role in addressing societal issues and resolving disputes.
President al-Mashat further noted the deceased's courageous stances against the American, Saudi, and Emirati aggression and its proxies, considering his death a loss for Yemen, particularly for the his tribes in al-Masloub district, Jawf governorate.
He extended his deepest condolences and prayed for mercy upon the deceased and patience for his family.
