Acting Governor of Taiz Ahmed Al-Masawa on Friday inspected the conditions of fighters stationed on Karesh al-Qabaita front in Lahj governorate for Eid al-Adha.
Accompanied by military and security leaders, al-Masawa conveyed Eid congratulations from the Revolution Leader, Sayyed Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din Al-Houthi, to the frontline fighters.
He emphasized Yemen's role as a spearhead against American and Zionist aggression and lauded the defenders' sacrifices and vigilance in protecting national sovereignty and resources.
Brigadier General Shathan, Assistant Commander of the Fourth Military Region, highlighted the visit's aim to draw inspiration from the fighters' steadfastness. The fighters expressed gratitude for the visit, affirming their readiness for any escalating battle.
Al-Masawa and his delegation also visited al-Sammad Cemetery in al-Hawban to recite al-Fatiha for the souls of martyrs.
Earlier, the Acting Governor, alongside various officials, performed Eid al-Adha prayers at the Great Prophet Square in Taiz's provincial capital.
