Rome – Saba:
The World Food Programme has warned of a worsening humanitarian disaster in the Gaza Strip, confirming that more than 70,000 children are suffering from severe levels of malnutrition as a result of the ongoing aggression and blockade.
The programme explained, according to Quds Press Agency, that the continued escalation of the conflict could lead to a "near-total halt" in relief operations, threatening the lives of hundreds of thousands of civilians, especially children who are suffering from severe shortages of food and healthcare.
