Gaza – Saba:
The Palestinian Freedom Movement affirmed on Thursday that the targeting of media professionals and journalists will not deter them from continuing to cover and expose the enemy's crimes and its barbaric aggression against the Gaza Strip, and to convey the truth about the sadism and brutality of this Nazi enemy.
In a statement to Saba, the movement strongly condemned the heinous crime committed by the Nazi Zionist enemy Thursday, by targeting and bombing the courtyard of the Baptist Hospital, where journalists and media professionals were present.
The statement indicated that this attack resulted in the deaths of four journalists and the injury of several others who were performing their professional duty to expose the enemy's crimes and convey the truth about the crimes and genocide against the Palestinian people. The movement noted that this crime occurs amidst international silence and inability to stop the flow of blood in Gaza.
The movement appealed to the international community, human rights and humanitarian organizations, and media and press unions to provide protection for journalists and media professionals in Palestine, particularly in the Gaza Strip, in accordance with international law.
It also called for urgent action to hold the Zionist enemy and its leaders accountable for their crimes. Furthermore, it urged free media outlets worldwide to intensify their coverage of the enemy's crimes and stand with Palestinian media in its battle to uncover the truth.
