A secret document revealed on Wednesday that Israel violated international humanitarian law in the Gaza Strip, including the use of starvation as a weapon, in addition to killing tens of thousands of women and children.
The document, issued by the European Union Human Rights Unit in November 2024, affirmed that this constitutes a heinous crime, explaining that the Israeli army's violations in Gaza may constitute crimes against humanity.
Since March 2, the Israeli enemy has closed the Gaza Strip's crossings to the entry of food, relief, medical aid, and goods, causing a significant deterioration in the humanitarian situation.
Israeli forces renewed their aggression on the Gaza Strip at dawn on March 18, 2025, with airstrikes across the Gaza Strip, overturning a ceasefire agreement with Hamas and other resistance factions that had lasted for approximately 60 days, brokered by the United States, Egypt, and Qatar.
The Israeli enemy evaded entering into the second phase of the ceasefire agreement, which was supposed to last for 42 days, followed by a third phase of the same duration, leading to a permanent cessation of hostilities and aggression.
Since the beginning of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, 54,510 Palestinian citizens have been killed, while the number of wounded has reached 124,901, approximately 72% of whom are women and children, according to Palestinian medical sources.
