Hezbollah Secretary-General Sheikh Naim Qassem discussed the situation in the region with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi on Wednesday, in the presence of Iranian Ambassador to Lebanon Mojtaba Amani.
According to Al-Manar TV, the Foreign Minister emphasized the importance of bilateral relations with Lebanon and the Islamic Republic of Iran's interest in assisting Lebanon and standing by its side in economic, political, and social matters, based on mutual respect and strengthening cooperation between the two countries.
The Secretary-General reiterated his thanks to the Islamic Republic of Iran, its leader, Imam Khamenei, the Iranian presidency, government, and people, for their continued support for the Lebanese people and their resistance.
He also emphasized the importance of Iran's positive role in the region and its support for the Palestinian resistance and its people.
He expressed to the Foreign Minister Hezbollah's conviction and tireless efforts to achieve Lebanon's renaissance, stability, and sovereignty, and to expel the occupation from its territory.
