Salfit - Saba:
The Al-Baydar Organization for the Defense of Bedouin Rights reported on Monday that Israeli occupation forces, supported by settlers, are intensifying their bulldozing and land confiscation operations in the village of Sarta, west of Salfit, in an escalating move aimed at seizing more Palestinian land for settlement expansion.
According to the Palestinian SAFA News Agency, the organization indicated that Israeli forces began carrying out extensive bulldozing operations in the morning hours, targeting agricultural lands owned by the villagers.
It noted that the continuation of these practices threatens to impose a new reality on the ground by force, one that perpetuates policies of displacement and settlement at the expense of Palestinian rights.
This comes amid the expansion of settlement expansion in the region and the establishment of new outposts on the lands of the villages of Kafr ad-Dik and Burqin.
The Israeli government had previously approved the establishment of 22 new settlements in several areas of the West Bank.
The new settlement sites are located: four in the Ramallah Governorate, four in the Jenin Governorate, and four in the Hebron Governorate.
While two sites are located in Nablus Governorate, another site is located in Salfit Governorate, three are located in Jericho, three are located in the Jordan Valley, and the last one is located in occupied Quds.
