Gaza – SABA:
The Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas, strongly condemned remarks made by U.S. Ambassador to the Israeli entity, Mike Huckabee, in which he suggested establishing a Palestinian state on part of French territory in response to France’s support for recognizing the State of Palestine.
In a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (SABA) on Sunday, Hamas described the comments as a blatant disregard for the legitimate national rights of the Palestinian people and a flagrant violation of international law and United Nations resolutions. The movement affirmed that the remarks reflect the U.S.’s full alignment with the Zionist entity and its expansionist colonial agenda.
Hamas added that the disgraceful statement represents an unabashed adoption of the fascist occupation’s narrative, which denies the Palestinian people’s rights to their land and holy sites. It further serves as a political cover for the Netanyahu government’s terrorist policies aimed at enforcing brutal genocide and forced displacement.
The movement denounced the biased remarks and called on the international community and the United Nations to take a firm stand in supporting the Palestinian people in their legitimate struggle for freedom, self-determination, and the establishment of an independent Palestinian state on their land.
