Students and academics at the Graduate Center at the City University of New York (CUNY) continue their hunger strike for the fourth consecutive day, demanding an end to the genocide being committed against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.
According to what the Palestinian WAFA News Agency reported on Sunday, the strike is being held in the courtyard of the Graduate Center, where participants are holding up banners and pictures of Gaza, demanding that the university administration divest from companies and institutions involved in supporting the Israeli occupation and settler colonialism, considering this "complicity in the genocide being committed against Palestinians."
The participants affirmed their determination to continue the strike until the university administration responds to their just demands, stressing that solidarity with Palestine "is not an option, but a moral obligation."
