The Spanish government condemned the Israeli government's approval of 22 new settlements in the West Bank on Friday.
In a statement published by its Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Spanish government considered this move a flagrant violation of international law and a direct threat to peace in the region, according to the Palestinian News Agency, Safa.
