Telecom Corp. provides medicine shipment to Hodeida oncology center

Hodeida – Saba:

The Oncology Center at al-Thawra General Hospital Authority in Hodeida on Wednesday received a shipment of medicines and treatments for cancer patients, courtesy of the General Telecommunications Corporation (GTC). This contribution aims to support the center's patient care efforts.

Province undersecretary Mohammed Halisi emphasized the significance of this initiative in aiding cancer patients in the governorate during challenging times and commended the GTC's partnership with the health sector.

Ali Makki, head of the GTC's Hodeida branch, stated that this medicine supply reflects the corporation's community commitment and support for health facilities, particularly the Cancer Treatment Center, in its humanitarian role.

Dr. Khaled Suhail, Chairman of al-Thawra Hospital Authority, lauded the GTC's initiative as a positive step in easing the center's burden in providing necessary patient treatment.

Dr. Mohammed Marish, Director of the Oncology Center, noted that the received medications will address some of the center's needs and help ensure the ongoing provision of medical services to daily patients.

Bandar al-Saddah, General Manager of the GTC, affirmed the corporation's continued implementation of initiatives serving vital sectors, especially health, as part of its national and societal responsibility.
