The Empowerment Committee in Sana'a province, chaired by Governor Abdulbasit Al-Hadi, discussed on Tuesday in its meeting the proposed economic empowerment projects at the district level across the province.
The meeting reviewed projects aimed at expanding sheep and goat breeding, fattening, dairy production, and small-scale industries.
Attendees emphasized the importance of completing the implementation of these projects in line with value chains, taking into account the geographical characteristics of the areas and the targeted beneficiaries in each district.
During the meeting, Governor Al-Hadi stressed the importance of activating the project to improve the living standards of targeted families by creating sustainable income sources. He highlighted its role in enhancing food security by supporting local production and increasing the availability of essential food items, as well as building the capacities of families and equipping them with the skills and knowledge needed for independent work and production.
He pointed out the local authority's keenness to rehabilitate beneficiaries and guide them toward employment through the economic empowerment project, ultimately leading to production , breaking the cycle of poverty and unemployment.
