Today, Monday, Israeli enemy forces delivered stop-construction notices in the village of Shufa, southeast of Tulkarm.
Local sources reported that the enemy forces raided the village and issued the notices for three houses and a farm—some of which are ready for habitation—located in the eastern and southeastern areas of the village. The affected properties belong to: Rifaat Fayez Darubi, Nabhan Abdul Rahim Darubi, Heba Ahmed Darubi, and Mohammed Ibrahim Darubi.
The sources added that the enemy forces took measurements of the house of citizen Ahmed Mohammed Abdullah Darubi, noting that the home of his son, Ma’an Darubi, is under imminent threat of demolition.
On April 10, the enemy forces demolished the home of citizen Ibrahim Mahmoud Darubi in the northern part of the village without prior warning, under the pretext of unlicensed construction.
The village of Shufa is facing an extensive colonial assault aimed at seizing the remaining lands that the occupation has already taken over for the expansion of the "Avnei Hefetz" settlement. The enemy continues to threaten residents with home demolitions through demolition or stop-construction orders based on flimsy pretexts.
