According to Al-Quds Al-Arabi, Liverpool police reported receiving a call shortly after 6 p.m. local time (5 p.m. GMT) following reports of a collision between a car and multiple pedestrians in the city center.
Police arrested a man but did not confirm whether there were any casualties.
