Dozens of Zionist settlers stormed the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound on Monday under the protection of Israeli occupation forces.
According to the Palestinian News Agency (WAFA), local sources reported that dozens of settlers stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque and performed provocative Talmudic rituals in its courtyards.
A female settler raised an Israeli flag during the raid. This incident coincided with Israeli police deploying iron barriers around Damascus Gate and the Old City to restrict access to Palestinians amidst strict military measures.
It is worth noting that settler incursions and harassment of worshippers have increased in recent days, amid calls by extremist settler groups for more incursions and greater intensity on Monday.
