Ramallah - Saba:

The Palestinian Commission of Prisoners' Affairs and Ex-Prisoners revealed that three prisoners in Gilboa Prison are suffering from critical health conditions.

In a statement issued Monday after her lawyer visited a number of prisoners held in Gilboa Prison, the organization explained that prisoner Munir Salama, 25, from Jenin Camp, has not yet been sentenced and remains detained. He has been suffering from scabies for about four months, which causes extensive boils to appear on his body. He needs immediate treatment.

Prisoner Samer Qambe', 30, from Jenin, who is currently detained, suffers from pain in his left ear extending to his neck and even his left palm, sometimes causing him to lose sensation in his hand. He was wearing a brace that extended over his arm. The day before the visit, a special unit stormed the room where he was being held, assaulted him, and seized the brace. He also complains of severe toothache.

Prisoner Ibrahim Ramadi (32 years old) from the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood in Jerusalem has also been suffering from scapulohumeral disease for about two months. His condition has reached an advanced stage, manifesting as boils on his knees and eczema on his hands.

This is due to his dirty clothes, which are not washed regularly because the washing machine is required to wash during the day and is insufficient for this purpose. Furthermore, the machine is broken.

Ramadi has also suffered from hydrocephalus since childhood and requires special medication for his condition, but the prison administration does not provide it.

He also suffers from migraines that plague him most of the time and from severe pain in the tendons of his left hand.
