Workshop for agricultural survey team in Jawf

Jawf - Saba:

The Agriculture, Fisheries, and Water Resources Office in Jawf Governorate organized a workshop for the agricultural survey team in the Al-Hazm and Al-Maslub districts, as part of the agricultural expansion project in the governorate's districts for the year 1446 AH.

The workshop aimed to introduce the mechanisms and methods of agricultural surveying, filling out paper and electronic forms, and entering the required data accurately and in a timely manner.

During the workshop, the governorate's agricultural sector official, Mahdi Al-Dhamin, highlighted the importance of the agricultural survey in supporting the agricultural expansion project in the governorate. He reviewed the results of the previous field survey and the evaluation conducted in various districts, with the aim of establishing a modern and reliable database that contributes to sound decision-making and identifying development planning priorities.

He emphasized the role of volunteer agricultural cadres in carrying out the tasks and the importance of their contribution to collecting data and indicators that reflect the natural resources and capabilities available to each district, which contributes to laying a solid foundation for building a sustainable agricultural sector.

He pointed out that the field survey is the first step towards building a strong state based on sustainable agriculture and the development of its natural resources.
