The Joint Meeting Parties (JMPs) on Monday extended their warmest congratulations to the brotherly Lebanese people and to the leadership and members of Hezbollah on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the historic victory achieved by the resistance on May 25, 2000, which led to the expulsion of the Zionist occupation from southern Lebanon.
The JMPs explained, in a statement, that this glorious victory, achieved through immense sacrifices and legendary steadfastness, will remain a milestone in the nation's history and a shining example that a sincere resistance, connected to its people, is capable of breaking the occupation's prestige and achieving sovereignty and dignity.
The statement affirmed the JMPs' constant support for the resistance forces in the face of hegemonic and occupation projects, calling for strengthening Arab and Islamic unity to confront current challenges.
