Sana'a - (Saba):
The National Center for Meteorology and Early Warning expects hot to very hot weather in the deserts, plains, and coastal areas, with varying intensity of rain falling across several governorates over the next 24 hours.
The center stated in its weather bulletin that hot to very hot and dry weather is expected in the deserts and coastal plains, with maximum temperatures ranging between 39 and 46 degrees Celsius.
Meanwhile, the weather will be hot and humid along the coasts, with maximum temperatures ranging between 35 and 38 degrees Celsius.
Rainfall of varying intensity, sometimes accompanied by thunder, is likely in the governorates of Ibb, Taiz, Dhale'a, and the highlands of Lahj, and scattered rain is expected in parts of the governorates of Saada, Amran, Hajjah, Mahwit, Raymah, and Dhamar.
The center reported that the amount of rainfall measured at Ibb's meteorological stations over the past 24 hours was 3.6 mm.
It warned citizens in the desert and coastal areas of the hot and extremely hot weather and advised them to avoid direct sunlight during the afternoon and to drink plenty of fluids.
It also warned of thunderstorms and to avoid being in or crossing floodwaters during and after rainfall.
