Gaza - Saba:
The Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Battalions, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas, announced details of a complex operation against a Zionist force east of the town of al-Qarara, east of Khan Younis, in the southern Gaza Strip.
In a military statement on Sunday, the Qassam Brigades said, "Our fighters confirmed, after returning from the fighting, that they had carried out a complex operation last Tuesday, targeting an enemy force that had taken refuge inside a house east of the town of al-Qarara, east of Khan Younis, in the southern Gaza Strip."
It added, "Our fighters detonated a number of high-explosive devices, killing and wounding enemy soldiers after the house collapsed."
It continued, saying that its fighters detonated a tunnel shaft, targeting a number of soldiers who arrived at the scene, clashed with them with light weapons, and monitored the landing of evacuation helicopters.
The Qassam Brigades and other resistance factions continue to confront the enemy forces, which have penetrated most of Rafah and several areas in the Gaza Strip, particularly the eastern parts.
Since March 18, the enemy has resumed its genocidal campaign against Gaza, reneging on a 58-day ceasefire and prisoner exchange agreement with Hamas, brokered by Qatar and Egypt and supported by the United States.
