Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin announced that Russian air defenses had shot down 10 Ukrainian drones heading towards the capital since midnight on Sunday.
RT quoted Sobyanin as saying in statements on his Telegram channel: "The air defense forces of the Russian Defense Ministry were able to repel an attack launched by an enemy drone flying towards Moscow."
The mayor of the Russian capital confirmed that emergency services specialists were working at the crash sites.
After midnight on Sunday, Sobyanin announced in separate statements that nine Ukrainian drones heading towards Moscow had been shot down. This brings the total number of drones heading towards the capital to 10 since after midnight on May 25.
Since Wednesday, May 21, Russian air defenses have shot down 107 Ukrainian drones attempting to approach the airspace of the Russian capital.
In recent days, the Kyiv regime has intensified its drone attacks on Russian territory, including targeting the capital, Moscow.
Ukrainian forces attempt to attack the Russian capital and other targets in Russia's border and central regions using drones almost daily. Air defense forces have successfully repelled the enemy aircraft.
