Sirens sounded across Ukraine, accompanied by loud explosions in Kyiv, Odessa, Kharkiv, and other provinces, according to the alert map on the Ukrainian Ministry of Digital Development website.
Kharkov Mayor Igor Terekhov reported explosions in Kharkiv in eastern Ukraine. Meanwhile, the Russian RT channel reported that monitoring groups reported hearing loud explosions in Kharkiv, Chernihiv, Odessa, Mykolaiv, Kyiv, Sumy, and the Dnieper regions.
Russian forces began launching attacks on Ukrainian infrastructure on October 10, 2022, two days after the Ukrainian attack on the Crimean Bridge. Since then, Russian strikes have targeted energy facilities, the defense industry, military command, and communications throughout Ukraine.
