The Ministry of Health in Gaza has issued an urgent appeal to relevant authorities to provide protection for medical facilities and all working staff.
In a recent statement on its Telegram channel, the ministry said: "The intensity of gunfire and repeated attacks on the European Gaza Hospital and its surroundings over the past several days have prevented the evacuation of a number of medical teams and individuals trapped inside the hospital."
