Irish Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs and Defense Simon Harris called on Israel on Wednesday to lift the siege on Gaza and allow the entry of humanitarian aid.
Harris made the statement during an address to the Irish Parliament regarding the situation in Gaza, where he warned:
"If the Zionist enemy continues its military attacks, further sanctions must be imposed."
He highlighted that 15,000 children have been killed in Gaza, according to UN reports, while 34,000 others have been injured and over one million displaced.
