Muscat – SABA:
The Sultanate of Oman announced that the next round of talks between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the United States of America will be held in Rome next Friday.
Omani Foreign Minister Badr bin Hamad Al-Busaidi stated:
"The fifth round of Iranian-American talks will take place in the Italian capital, Rome, on May 23."
The fourth round, held in Muscat on May 11, was characterized—according to the Omani News Agency—by valuable and substantive discussions reflecting the shared desire of both the Iranian and American sides to reach a dignified agreement.
