Sharaf Al-Hadi, Head of the Planning and Development Committee in the Capital Secretariat, and Engineer Abdulkarim Al-Houthi, Deputy Secretary for Projects Sector, inspected on Wednesday the progress of work on the construction of a second floor for the Higher Academy of the Holy Quran and Its Sciences (female students' branch) in Shu’ub District.
They reviewed the completion level of the project, which costs 110 million Yemeni riyals, funded by the local authority in the Secretariat. The project includes building a second floor for the academy and rehabilitating and equipping the hall destroyed by the brutal aggression.
Additionally, the Head of the Planning and Development Committee and the Deputy Secretary inspected the progress of work on the project to complete the construction of Martyr Yahya Al-Sanwar School in Al-Thawra District, at a cost of 182 million riyals, also funded by the local authority. The project involves building 22 classrooms with facilities, with a 50% completion rate so far.
They were briefed by Engineer Tariq Al-Shami, Director of Education Projects in the Secretariat’s Works Sector, on the progress , completed construction, rehabilitation, and renovation work in both the academy and school projects.
Al-Hadi and Al-Houthi considered the two projects as significant additions to the educational infrastructure, contributing to the improvement of the educational process.
