Sanaa - Saba:
On the occasion of the 35th National Day of the Republic of Yemen, Minister of Defense Maj. Gen. Mohammed Al-Atifi and Chief of the General Staff Maj. Gen. Mohammed Al-Ghamari sent a congratulatory message to President Field Marshal Mahdi Al-Mashat. They expressed pride in the historic achievement of Yemeni unity on May 22, 1990, achieved through the will of the people despite past and ongoing conspiracies.
They reaffirmed the armed forces’ steadfastness in confronting challenges and defending the nation’s sovereignty, religion, and sacred values. In light of the brutal Zionist aggression against Gaza, they condemned the silence of Arab regimes and stressed that Gaza is the frontline of the Arab nation’s defense. Yemen, they said, remains firm in its support of the oppressed and rejects submission.
The letter praised the resilience of the Yemeni people and armed forces, whose faith and determination have shattered the illusions of enemy power. They vowed that any aggression against Yemen will be met with a decisive and firm response.
Finally, they reiterated that the unity of Yemen reflects an unbreakable national will, renewing their oath to defend the homeland and support the oppressed. They declared that with faith in God and trust in righteous leadership, Yemen will overcome all attempts at division and write new victories for the nation.
