[21/ May/2025]

Sana’a – Saba:

Minister of Defense and Military Production, Major General Mohammed Al-Atifi, and Chief of the General Staff, Major General Mohammed Al-Ghamari, sent a congratulatory message to the Leader of the Revolution, Sayyed Abdul-Malik Badr Al-Din Al-Houthi, on the occasion of the 35th National Day of the Republic of Yemen, May 22.

They expressed their heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to the Leader on behalf of the Ministry of Defense leadership and all heroic members of the armed forces across the battlefronts of pride and dignity. They prayed for the Leader’s continued health and success in guiding the nation toward safety, fulfilling the aspirations of the Yemeni people, and elevating the standing of the Arab and Islamic nations.

They described the 22nd of May 1990 as one of the most significant milestones in the nation’s history, when the unity of Yemen was achieved by the free will of the people, ending the era of division imposed by colonial and tyrannical powers.

The message emphasized that this anniversary comes amid critical regional developments, particularly the brutal Zionist aggression on Gaza—the first line of defense for the Arab nation—while many Arab regimes stand by or submit to the dictates of global arrogance, led by the U.S. and Israel.

They stressed that Yemen remains steadfast in its faith-driven stance, unwavering in its support for the oppressed. Thanks to divine support and the Leader’s guidance, the armed forces have proven their capability and exposed the weakness of enemy narratives, demonstrating their strength and readiness to achieve either victory or martyrdom.

They warned the Zionist enemy that Yemeni missiles and drones have already reached the skies of occupied Palestine and humbled their arrogance with divine power and support—and that Yemen’s support for Gaza will continue until the siege ends and aggression stops.

The message reaffirmed that the armed forces, in all their units and formations, stand fully ready to carry out the Leader’s instructions and will spare no effort in defending the homeland and the nation. They stressed that Yemen will never forget the blood of the martyrs or forgive the traitors, and will remain a sword against the oppressors until every inch of Yemeni land and every sacred place is liberated, God willing.

They concluded with words of glory for proud Yemen, eternal remembrance for the martyrs, healing for the wounded, freedom for the prisoners, and dignity and honor for the Islamic nation.
