Sana'a - Saba:
A workshop on countering rumors and exposing the crimes of the enemies was held on Wednesday in Sana'a, organized by the National Women’s Committee.
The workshop, attended by 20 female media professionals from media institutions and the National Committee, reviewed several topics related to media deception, its methods and tools, as well as ways to confront rumors.
During the opening session, Dr. Ghada Abu Talib, Chairwoman of the National Women’s Committee, highlighted the role of the media in confronting the American-Zionist propaganda machine and its tools, as well as the misinformation it spreads to poison public opinion as part of its war on Yemen, aiming to dissuade the Yemeni people from their stance in support of Gaza.
For his part, Dr. Yusuf Al-Hadhari discussed the role of media professionals in exposing the crimes of the Zionists in Gaza and Yemen, reviewing methods of deception and ways to counter them.
He emphasized the importance of continuing to expose the crimes of the aggression and its deliberate targeting of residential areas, civilians, and civilian infrastructure as part of its criminal war—a response to Yemen’s opposition to the American-Zionist project in the region.
Al-Hadhari also stressed the need for media outlets to focus on raising awareness about the Palestinian cause and Yemen’s supportive stance for the Palestinian resistance.
