Gaza - Saba:
Rami Abdo, head of the Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor, confirmed that what has been discussed so far regarding the entry of aid is nothing more than "a propaganda show that does not even merit respect for people's intelligence."
Abdo told the Palestinian Shehab News Agency: "People are in urgent need of thousands of aid trucks, while the talk so far is about five trucks that have not entered deep into Gaza. Rather, the occupation deliberately obstructed their entry until yesterday evening, and they reached the Palestinian side via the Kerem Shalom crossing."
He added, "What has entered the Palestinian side are five trucks carrying various goods in small quantities, including, according to preliminary observations, nutritional supplements, baby food, some hay, and shrouds."
Abdo continued, "It is clear that we are witnessing a blatant disregard for international demands to deliver food to the starving in Gaza. These trucks are not enough to meet the needs of 2% of the population for one day."
He explained that, "Assuming that the five trucks are loaded with food supplies, this means that each Gazan will receive 30 grams of food per person."
