Tomorrow marks launch of fourth summer festival for talents & creators of summer schools in Capital Secretariat

Tomorrow, the competitions of the fourth summer festival for talents and creators of summer schools in the Capital Secretariat for the year 1446 AH will kick off, organized by the Subcommittee for Summer Activities and Courses.

Over four days, students from open and model summer schools across all districts of the Capital Secretariat will compete in eight fields, including: the Holy Quran, methodology, choral singing, poetry, theater, drawing and sculptures, recitation and oratory, and Bara' – traditional folk arts.

The Subcommittee for Summer Activities and Courses in the Capital Secretariat has completed all necessary preparations to host and ensure the success of the fourth summer festival competitions in Sana'a, with broad participation from various districts of the Secretariat.

In its meeting today at Dar Al-Aytam School, the committee approved the judging panels for the eight competition categories and the tasks of the working committees, which include the organizing committee, media committee, technical committee, reception committee, secretariat, follow-up committee, and financial committee.

The meeting, attended by the deputies of the School Activities Department – Deputy Head of the Festival’s Organizing Committee, Abdullah Al-Madani and Abbas Al-Numairi, along with deputies , heads of educational and specialized departments, reviewed the competition rules, evaluation criteria and forms, as well as the organizational mechanism and committee responsibilities.

The attendees expressed confidence in the efforts of those in charge to ensure the festival’s success, highlight talents, and nurture them, emphasizing the importance of continuous follow-up with creators to achieve beneficial outcomes for students and society.

Al-Madani stressed the festival’s importance in motivating students, discovering talents and innovators, supporting them, and developing their skills in various scientific, cultural, and creative fields.

He urged the necessity of combined efforts, attention, active participation from all to ensure the success of the fourth summer festival for talents , creators of summer schools, yielding beneficial results for students and society.
