Day After Tomorrow, Tuesday… Launch of First Scientific Conference on Medical Administration at University of September 21

The first scientific conference on medical administration is set to begin in Sana’a the day after tomorrow, Tuesday. The two-day event is organized by the College of Medical Administration at the University of September 21 for Medical and Applied Sciences under the slogan: “Towards Effective Medical Administration for Sustainable and High-Quality Health Services.”




The President of the University of September 21, Dr. Mujahid Ma’asar, told the Yemeni News Agency (SABA) that the conference is part of ongoing efforts to revitalize medical tourism and boost the national economy by enhancing the quality of healthcare and developing administrative systems in the health sector in line with current and future challenges facing the national health system.




He stated that the conference aims to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of medical administration, develop health services, enhance cooperation among entities concerned with public and environmental health, raise awareness of the importance of medical administrative specialties, increase their localization in national health organizations, and support scientific research in the field of medical administration.




Dr. Ma’asar added that the conference will discuss a number of working papers and scientific research across five main themes: governance and modern administration of health organizations, quality management and qualitative improvement, management and accreditation of health institutions and facilities, innovation in medical administration, health financing and insurance, and development of human resources in the health sector. The conference will also highlight the role of digital transformation and modern technologies in enhancing administration and quality in the healthcare sector and ensuring the sustainability of its services.




For his part, the Secretary-General of the Conference, Dr. Muneer Al-Wassabi, explained that the conference aims to provide a scientific and practical platform that brings together local and international experts, researchers, healthcare practitioners, and decision-makers to discuss the latest developments in the field of health services and hospital administration and to review the best global practices and successful experiences that could help improve the efficiency and effectiveness of health systems.
