Tourism sector in Ibb organizes recreational trip for 400 summer school students

Ibb - Saba:
The tourism sector in Ibb province organized the third recreational trip for students enrolled in summer schools across several districts, in cooperation with tourism establishments and the province’s summer courses administration.

Ghanem Awsaj, the official in charge of the tourism sector in the province, confirmed that the recreational trip included 400 male , female students and featured visits to resorts, parks, swimming pools, tourist facilities for swimming and various games. This initiative is part of the tourism sector’s contribution to the success of summer programs and activities.

He noted that such recreational activities help introduce summer school students to historical and archaeological sites and tourist attractions. These activities also play a role in revitalizing students’ energy, fostering a culture of loyalty and national belonging, and deepening their faith-based identity.

The trip targeted students from summer schools in several districts, including:
- Martyr Mohammed Saeed Al-Kawal School in Al-Qafr District
- Imam Ali bin Abi Talib School in Ibb Rural District
- Usama bin Zaid, Ammar bin Yasir, Al-Zahra, and Yemen Martyrs Schools in Al-Mashannah District
- Saraya Al-Quds School in Al-Dhahar District
- The Summer Center in Al-Udayn District

Awsaj praised the cooperation of tourism establishments in organizing these trips for students, emphasizing the commitment to continuing such activities across the province’s districts.

Meanwhile, students enrolled in the summer courses expressed their appreciation for the efforts of the tourism sector and its affiliated facilities in organizing the recreational event.
