A tribal mediation in the Sana'a governorate succeeded in ending a murder case between the Talabi family from Bani Matar and the Al-Barqi family from Nihm, after an eight-year dispute. The reconciliation was announced in a tribal meeting attended by member of the Supreme Political Council, Mohammed Ali Al-Houthi, and the governor of Sana'a, Abdul Basit Al-Hadi, along with several tribal leaders.
The blood relatives of the victim, Akram Mansour Talabi, declared their forgiveness for the perpetrator, Murad Saad Al-Barqi, for the sake of God and in response to the directives of the revolution leader Sayyid Abdul Malik Al-Houthi. The mediation committee praised the noble stance of the blood relatives, affirming that forgiveness embodies the values of tolerance and unity.
They also urged participating parties to prioritize national interest and unify ranks in facing external aggression, emphasizing that forgiveness is a hallmark of the authentic Yemeni tribes, and contributes to enhancing internal front unity and the security and stability of Yemen.
