The Israeli enemy army announced on Sunday the expansion of its genocidal crimes against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip by launching a ground operation in several areas—a dangerous escalation in the ongoing genocide that has persisted since October 7, 2023.
An enemy army spokesperson stated in a post on *X* platform that its forces "have begun a wide-scale ground operation across northern and southern Gaza over the past day."
On Saturday, the Israeli enemy army dropped leaflets over areas in Gaza, threatening to expand its 20-month-long genocidal campaign and carry out a new ground invasion.
With American and European support, the Israeli enemy has been committing genocide and imposing a suffocating siege on Gaza since October 7, 2023, resulting in over **173,000 Palestinian martyrs and wounded**, most of them children and women, in addition to more than **14,000 missing persons**.
