Ibb hosts meeting to discuss Ibb association's role in local development

Ibb - Saba:

A meeting in Ibb Governorate, chaired by Deputy Governor Qasim Al-Masawi, discussed the role and efforts of the Ibb Rural Multipurpose Cooperative Society in achieving local development.

The meeting, attended by the coordinator of the Banyan Foundation in the governorate, Naji Jassar, and officials and members of the association's committees from the Jabal Ma'ud, Shaab Yafa', and Al-Hawj Al-Qabli districts in the Ibb Rural District, addressed the tasks of the field committees to raise community awareness and activate the association's work to serve the district and its people.

During the meeting, the Deputy Governor emphasized the pivotal role played by the multipurpose cooperative societies in driving development in the agricultural, service, and development sectors.

He emphasized the need to unify official and popular efforts to invest in natural resources and promote cooperative and voluntary work, expressing the local authority's readiness to provide the necessary support and overcome any challenges facing the society.

For his part, the Banyan Foundation coordinator reviewed the mechanism and methodology of development work during the next phase to provide services to citizens, urging the association's administrative body to fulfill its responsibilities in this regard.
