The Governor of Al Hodeida, Abdullah Atifi, inspected the progress of a community initiative aimed at building a health unit in the Jumayesha area of the Al-Duraihimi district, as part of efforts to enhance health services in rural areas.
The governor was briefed on the details of the initiative, which includes the construction of three health units in the villages of Al-Zafaran and Al-Mashaqanah, in addition to a project to deliver water from the village of Deir Hassan to Al-Mrawi, with funding and participation from the residents.
Atifi praised the role of the community in supporting local development, emphasizing that such initiatives represent an important cornerstone in improving basic services, especially in light of the ongoing aggression and siege.
He also reaffirmed the governorate's leadership's interest in providing support and facilities to ensure the sustainability and expansion of these initiatives.
For his part, the mobilization official, Ali Issa, clarified that these activities reflect the community's awareness of the importance of active participation in achieving self-sufficiency in the fields of health and water.
