The Commissioner-General of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), Philippe Lazzarini, warned of the worsening humanitarian catastrophe in the Gaza Strip in light of the ongoing Israeli blockade and its prevention of humanitarian aid from entering the Strip.
Lazzarini said in a press statement: "Our aid to Gaza is stacked outside, and food will spoil and medicine will expire."
