The Russian Ministry of Defense announced on Sunday that the crew of a Russian Mi-35M helicopter targeted military personnel and armored vehicles of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the special military operation zone.
Sputnik quoted the ministry in a statement, saying: "The army aviation crew, aboard the Mi-35M helicopter, targeted personnel and armored vehicles of the Ukrainian Armed Forces units in the special military operation zone."
Sputnik noted that after the strike, the crew conducted anti-missile maneuvers at extremely low altitudes, launching heat traps to prevent enemy missiles from hitting them.
The Russian Ministry of Defense confirmed that "all identified targets were destroyed."
