Gaza - Saba:
The Islamic Resistance Movement "Hamas" has called for escalating confrontations and countering the escalating crimes committed by settlers against towns, villages, houses, and lands in the West Bank.
In a statement on Saturday, Hamas official Abdul Rahman Shadid pointed out that armed extremist settler groups continue their aggression against areas in the occupied West Bank. The latest incidents include setting fire to the Ramin plain east of Tulkarm, burning lands near the villages of Turmus'ayya and Abu Falah northeast of Ramallah, and the siege of Bedouin communities in the Jordan Valley, depriving them of water.
Shadid emphasized that settler gangs are carrying out their crimes with the support of the occupation army and under the cover of an extremist Zionist government, which provides them with backing and protection for their criminal assaults.
He explained that the escalation of settler militia attacks in the West Bank is a continuation of the genocidal massacres against our people in all areas of their presence, as well as an extension of the eliminationist Zionist approach adopted by the occupation government to implement its annexation plans.
Shadid stressed the necessity of deterring settlers in the West Bank, standing united against their aggression and crimes, and thwarting the extremist occupation government’s schemes aimed at displacing Palestinians and expelling them from their lands and villages—especially those near settlements.
He reaffirmed that the attacks by extremist settlers, backed by their fascist government, will not force our people to surrender or retreat from their land and rights, but will only strengthen their resilience, defiance, and commitment to the choice of resistance.
Shadid called on all factions, forces, movements, and armed groups in the West Bank governorates "to repel these terrorist attacks, unite in confronting the crimes of the occupation, deter the settlers, and defend our people, land, and holy sites."
