The Leader of the Islamic Revolution in Iran, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, affirmed that the Zionist entity is a "dangerous and deadly cancerous tumor in the region that must be eradicated from its roots—and it will be eradicated."
During his reception of thousands of Iranian teachers and educators on Saturday, Ayatollah Khamenei stated:
"There is no doubt that the source of corruption, war, and conflict in this region is the Zionist regime—a dangerous and deadly cancerous tumor in the region—and it must be uprooted, and it will be uprooted."
He dismissed the statements made by U.S. President Donald Trump during his visit to the Gulf as "absolutely unworthy of a response."
Ayatollah Khamenei said:
*"The level of his remarks is so low that it brings shame upon the speaker and shame upon the American people."
He further pointed out: "Trump claimed he wants to use force to achieve peace—he lied. He, along with American officials and successive U.S. administrations, has used force to commit massacres in Gaza, ignite wars wherever they could, and support their proxies."
He added: "They have used force to provide the Zionist entity with 10-ton bombs to drop on the heads of Gaza’s children, on hospitals, and on people’s houses—whether in Lebanon or wherever else they could."
Khamenei also noted: "Force can be used for peace and security. That is why, despite the enemies’ wishes, we will continue to strengthen our power and our country’s power day by day."
