The radio explained that one person carried out the guerrilla operation, and caused confusion for the “army” and the Israeli intelligence service, noting that the perpetrator has high field experience and accurate knowledge of the geography of the site.
She indicated that the attacker used a long automatic rifle and a laser device to confuse the targeted driver before opening fire.
She pointed out that the perpetrator fired with great precision and observed the place for hours before carrying out the operation, explaining that he withdrew on foot without leaving any trace behind him.
“Despite the presence of an Israeli military force in the vicinity of the attacker, they were unable to monitor or track him,” she said.
She added: “So far, the forces have not succeeded in locating the perpetrator or finding him, despite the high alert.”
