Gaza - Saba:
Khalil al-Daqran, a spokesman for al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in the Gaza Strip, said on Friday that "what is happening in Gaza exceeds the description of genocide.
There are observations of a serious number of injuries, and an increase in the number of critical cases arriving at the Strip's hospitals."
According to al-Quds Press, he confirmed that the Strip's hospitals are suffering from a severe and dangerous shortage of blood due to its unavailability.
Al-Daqran added that residents are unable to donate blood due to anemia resulting from malnutrition.
He explained that malnutrition in the Gaza Strip has reached its most dangerous stage, stage five, according to the World Health Organization's classification.
Al-Daqran indicated that the effects of famine are becoming evident on citizens' bodies, affecting their vital functions.
He also confirmed that the number of injuries and deaths in the Strip's hospitals has increased significantly in the past few days due to the scale of the crimes and increasing Zionist targeting of the Strip. He stressed that the enemy has destroyed 85 percent of the health services in the Gaza Strip, causing a loss of control over the medical sector, with treatment of the wounded severely limited.
For nearly ten weeks, the enemy authorities have prevented the entry of any supplies into the Gaza Strip, leading to the closure of bakeries, community kitchens, and charities. Meanwhile, international organizations operating in the Strip have announced that their warehouses have run out of basic food supplies and baby formula.
Since October 7, 2023, with American and European support, the enemy forces have been committing genocide in the Gaza Strip, resulting in more than 172,000 Palestinian deaths and injuries, most of them children and women, in addition to more than 14,000 missing persons.
