Gaza – Saba:

Several areas in the northern Gaza Strip are witnessing a massive exodus of hundreds of Palestinians after the Israeli enemy army committed massacres that left 105 dead and dozens wounded following artillery and air strikes targeting the area since dawn on Friday.

Anadolu Agency reported, citing eyewitnesses, that hundreds of Palestinian families have begun leaving the areas of Western Roundabout, Al-Amoudi, Al-Sultans, Ezbet Abd Rabbo, Al-Sikka, and Tal Qleibo in Beit Lahia, in search of safe shelter amid the escalating Israeli airstrikes.

The agency noted that the displaced are walking or using animal-drawn carts, given the lack of transportation and the widespread destruction of main and secondary roads.

It noted that residents were forced to leave their homes or the shelters and tents they were staying in without taking their belongings, fearing a repeat of the massacres committed by the Israeli enemy army during the night and dawn of Friday, which left more than 105 martyrs.

This coincided with heavy shelling by Israeli artillery and warplanes in areas north of the Gaza Strip, in parallel with a ground incursion into the western outskirts of Beit Lahia.

Earlier on Friday, Mahmoud Basal, a spokesman for the Palestinian Civil Defense in Gaza, said that ambulance crews had recovered 50 martyrs since dawn, and that more than 50 others were still under the rubble as a result of the Israeli enemy's shelling of 11 inhabited homes in the northern Gaza Strip.

Basal pointed out that there were areas that ambulance and civil defense crews were unable to reach due to the continuous and violent Israeli shelling of the area.

Basal pointed out that the bodies of martyrs killed by Israeli airstrikes are still lying on the streets of the towns of Beit Lahia, Jabalia, Jabalia refugee camp, and Beit Hanoun in the northern Gaza Strip. Rescue crews are unable to reach them due to the intensity of the bombing.

With American and European support, the Israeli enemy has been committing a genocidal crime and imposing a total siege on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023. This has resulted in more than 173,000 Palestinian deaths and injuries, most of them children and women, in addition to more than 14,000 missing persons.
