Tulkarm - (Saba):
Israeli enemy forces continue their aggression on the city of Tulkarm and its camp in the northern occupied West Bank for the 110th consecutive day, while their aggression on Nour Shams camp continues for the 97th day, amidst escalating field operations, home demolitions, and tightened security measures.
On Friday morning, enemy forces tightened their security measures around Tulkarm, particularly on its southern side, and set up a military checkpoint at its southern entrance, specifically around the Jabara Bridge gate.
The forces stopped vehicles for extended periods, searching and checking the identities of drivers and passengers, causing traffic congestion and severe overcrowding in the area.
Enemy bulldozers demolished more residential buildings in Nour Shams camp, positioned around the Abu Bakr al-Siddiq Mosque in the center of the camp.
During the past week, the enemy demolished 20 buildings, including the residential apartments they contained, in addition to blowing up other homes.
The demolitions took place in the neighborhoods of Al-Manshiyya, Al-Maslakh, Al-Jami', Al-'Iyadah, and Al-Shuhada, as part of the occupation's plan to demolish 106 homes and residential buildings in the Tulkarm and Nur Shams refugee camps.
In recent days, the southern area of Tulkarm has witnessed provocative measures by occupation forces, who periodically close the gate of the Jabara Bridge for several hours before reopening it, setting up a military checkpoint, subjecting vehicles to searches, abusing their passengers, and obstructing traffic.
The enemy continues to seize homes and residential buildings on Nablus Street and the adjacent northern neighborhood, transforming them into military barracks after forcibly evacuating residents.
The occupation has not ceased its suffocating siege of the Tulkarm and Nur Shams refugee camps and their surroundings, preventing residents from entering them to inspect the homes from which they were forcibly displaced.
The ongoing aggression on the city of Tulkarm and its two camps resulted in the deaths of 13 citizens, in addition to the injury and arrest of dozens more, and the widespread destruction of infrastructure, including homes, shops, and vehicles, which were completely and partially demolished, burned, vandalized, looted, and stolen.
The aggression also resulted in the forced displacement of more than 4,200 families from the Tulkarm and Nur Shams camps, comprising over 25,000 citizens. It also resulted in the complete destruction of over 400 homes and the partial destruction of 2,573 others.
