Football championships for summer school students concluded on Wednesday in al-Husn and Jehana districts of Sana'a province.
In al-Husn, the Imam Ali Summer School team from al-Harura won the championship by defeating the Imam Ali School team from al-Rubu' 3-2 in the final. Al-Harura team will now represent the district in upcoming competitions.
In Jehana district, the Martyr Al-Samad Summer School team emerged victorious with a 2-1 win over the Imam Zaid School team from al-Sahman. The Martyr al-Sammad team will proceed to represent the district in the Eastern Sector competitions.
Director of the Youth Office in the province Abdulmohsen al-Sharif praised the enthusiasm of the participating teams. Championship cups and medals were awarded to the winning and runner-up teams by local officials.
