Gaza - Saba:
The Government Media Office in the Gaza Strip announced that the number of martyred journalists has risen to 215 since the beginning of the genocidal crime against the Gaza Strip, following the announcement of the martyrdom of Hassan Abdel Fattah Aslih.
It noted that Aslih was the director of the Alam24 News Agency and was assassinated by the Israeli enemy in a targeted attack while receiving treatment at Nasser Medical Complex. He had been injured in a previous assassination attempt and is still receiving treatment.
In a statement published on its Telegram channel, the Government Media Office condemned in the strongest terms the systematic targeting, killing, and assassination of Palestinian journalists by the Israeli enemy. It called on the International Federation of Journalists, the Arab Journalists Union, and all journalistic bodies worldwide to condemn these systematic crimes against Palestinian journalists and media professionals in the Gaza Strip.
It held the Israeli enemy, the US administration, and countries complicit in the genocidal crime, such as the United Kingdom, Germany, and France, fully responsible for committing this heinous and brutal crime.
The Office called on the international community, international organizations, and organizations involved in journalism and media work in all countries of the world to condemn the occupation's crimes, deter it, and prosecute it in international courts for its ongoing crimes, bringing the occupation's criminals to justice.
It also called on them to exert serious and effective pressure to stop the crime of genocide, protect journalists and media professionals in the Gaza Strip, and stop the killing and assassination of them.
